Inclusion Moments are a simple way to get people talking and listening to one another by including a ‘Moment’ prior to a meeting or briefing or by conducting a dedicated session.

The moments help, guide and promote discussion around Equality, Diversity and Inclusion including, but not limited to;

·       Gender issues

·       LGBTI

·       Disability

·       BME

·       Unconscious Bias

·       Inclusive Language

·       How to be an good ally

·       MH Stigma

·       Useful Links / Further Resources

So how is it delivered?

A minimum of ten minutes should be allocated for a chosen moment to allow discussion or they can be used as a springboard for a dedicated session lasting an hour. The moments are an opportunity for learning and discovery and may generate more questions and a further resources section will be provided. A living digital interactive document it is capable of being updated to reflect the most up to date information.

The beauty of delivering and promoting inclusion this way is that it can be utilised at every level within an organisation; from Executive, to departments, response briefings to operations. It’s a quick win format that can be delivered by anyone with the click of mouse and will empower and educate all to be better ready to understand ED&I.

Moments help guide, promote and aid discussion around different aspects of ED&I – they provide a platform to have ‘challenging’ conversations that our people often find hard to have. You do not have to be a subject matter expert around any subject, there are further references available – it’s about doing the work as an individual and team and being open to different perspectives.

“We are committing ourselves to foster a more inclusive culture where everyone feels included. Where everyone is in an environment where they can THRIVE, where everyone can be THEIR TRUE SELF and where everyone can REACH THEIR TRUE POTENTIAL. Why? Simply put it’s about living our VALUES, because it matters and it’s the RIGHT THING TO DO.”
