The SWDF is open to ALL serving police officers, special constables and staff members within Police Scotland and the SPA. Associate Membership is open to retired officers and members of staff as well as serving colleagues from other police forces and individuals from partner agencies with an interest in equality, diversity and inclusion.

The SWDF provides you with a fantastic network of colleagues who can support you both personally and professionally. We are free to join and deliver continuous professional development opportunities in a range of subject areas. We are here to improve your overall experience in policing and where necessary will challenge policy and practice that is in direct conflict with our organisational values and/or equality legislation.
