Chair of the SWDF Clare Hussain, accepted the award from Ash Regan MSP, on behalf of the SWDF and in her speech said…

I am incredibly proud of the SWDF and the trailblazing women who established the association in 2003. I am grateful to all our volunteers, who since then, have dedicated their time to improve and enhance the experiences of officers and staff over the last 18 years. It was a huge privilege to accept the award on their behalf and on behalf of our committee and growing membership. To receive this recognition for something we are all very passionate about is incredibly special and just makes us more determined in our aim to help Educate, Enable and Empower all officers and staff
